In 1953 richtte Martin Schröder zijn eerste bedrijf op: de Dutch Aircraft Company. Hierin bekleedde hij drie functies: die van eigenaar, directeur en enig personeelslid. Met een aantal Piper Super Cubs maakte hij in die pioniersfase luchtreclamevluchten onder de bedrijfsnaam Reclamair, vanaf het vliegveld Hilversum.
